Lush Sleepy Cream

I think almost everyone on this planet has sleeping issues. I have spent years trying to find little techniques to help me sleep. This has consistently been in my routine. I have already gone through 2 jars. It smells like soft lavender, but isn’t too potent that it gives you a headache. Before I fall asleep I put this on my shoulders and hands. It really helps me relax and puts in a sleepy mood. I travel with this everywhere I go. Some people like the Sleepy pillow spray by Lush but I argue the cream is much better.
Laneige Lip Mask
I think everyone knows about this lip mask. It is definitely worth the hype in my opinion. It is another staple in my nighttime routine. After applying my Sleepy cream, I put on a layer of this lip mask. I wake up with soft lips every morning. It is also good to have on deck throughout the day. I often find myself reaching for it over another chap stick because it actually works. I’m convinced 95% of chapsticks don’t work.
Clifford
A Clifford stuffed animal of this vintage is not available anywhere. I was gifted Clifford when I was around 3 years old and he has not left my side since. When I moved to Italy he came with me. I will say, he is perfect for flying because his body shape acts as the perfect plane pillow. He sits proudly on my bed every night. I really don’t know what I would do without him. Hot girls sleep with stuffed animals.

The first Yeti product is a mug. It’s not just any travel mug, it is the best travel mug ever. I love this mug because it fits under our espresso machine, keeps coffee warm or cold and it’s not too big. In my third year of university when I had classes on campus (RIP), in the morning I would make a cup of coffee before my 8:30 class, carry it with me, and sip on it throughout class. I rave about this mug to my parents 24/7 but they refuse to jump on the bandwagon. They continue to use travel mugs that are handed out for free at events, it makes me really mad.
The second Yeti product is a water bottle. This water bottle serves two functions. The first is obvious, it is huge and is almost never empty. It makes it easy to track how much water I am drinking, and the water stays super cold. Second function, is that it is a weapon. It is huge and has some weight to it. Whenever I am walking around campus at night, I carry this water bottle in my hands because if someone decided to attack me I could easily knock them out. I got this last year for Christmas, and I can safely say I’ve used it everyday since and it is just as good as brand new.
Taki’s
Find at your local gas station
The most elite flavour of Taki’s are the ones the come in the purple bags. To those that don’t like them, just stop. I have day dreams about these chips, I commute across the city looking for these because they are often sold out. Worth every dollar in gas I spend driving around. In Spryfield, you can find them at the Petro Canada by the Fire Station.
Ikea Charging Lamp
This lamp is a life saver when you come home drunk. You can slap your phone on the lamp and the next morning wake up with a perfectly charged phone. It’s also nice because it has an outlet for another cord. What I typically do is charge my phone on the lamp and plug my AirPods in through a regular charging cord. Or if my phone is dying but I want to play with it in bed, I plug it in. This is definitely not a necessary purchase, but has been a staple in my life. Plus it’s cute.
Muji Pens

I am apart of the small population of lefty’s. Lefty’s will understand the struggles of finding pens that don’t smudge. Muji pens are the answer to the problem. I buy the 0.5 ball point size. They come in a bunch of different colours. I cannot recommend these enough. I order them either directly from the website, go to a store (there is no store in Atlantic Canada), or order from Amazon. Even if you are not a lefty these are so smooth and make the most perfect lines. 12/10.
Moroccan Oil Dry Shampoo
This dry shampoo smells so good and it doesn’t make your hair feel crunchy like some other dry shampoo’s. Another thing I love about this product is that you can get it for your hair colour, so I get the blonde version. It comes out with a scary white cast at first, but it makes your blonde so bright once you massage it in a bit. Although it is a little bit on the pricey side I think it is worth the money.
Switch
This was a quarantine purchase. When my parents bought me this I didn’t think I would be excited, however, I found myself checking the shipping status 5 times a day. Once I got it I could not put it down, and almost 7 months later I still can’t. There are so many great games, and I don’t know about other people but Mario games were always my favourite growing up. As well, having it at school with my roommates is amazing. Whenever we have people over we quite often find ourselves playing Mario Kart. Before dropping the cash, definitely evaluate if it something you will be into for a long time, but I really love mine.
St. Tropez
All the pale girlies and boys out there will understand the necessity of this product. There are so many fake tanners on the market and this one ranks the highest for me. It lasts long, looks natural, does not leave you looking orange or too dark and it photographs beautifulIy. It is also conveniently available at most drug stores. I will warn you, it can stain your sheets a bit so I recommend buying cheap “tanning sheets” to put on when you are sleeping in your developing tan. Once you have a shower in the morning your sheets should be safe. My “tanning sheets” are actually from the Great Canadian Dollar Store and they work perfectly.
